Zambia to the World!
The first ever Star Night lit up Twangale park, it was an amazing night celebrating the best in Zambian music and entertainment. The event was hosted by Radio Phoenix DJ Roxy and Hot Fm DJ Chi with featured music by Superstar DJ Hussein.
The first of the feature performances was by the first Airtel trace star winner Scott. He mesmorized the audience with his miracle voice and is definitely a talent to keep your eye on.
He was followed by an energetic performance by Chanda Mbao. He started off by explaining how he came up with the song ‘Selfish’. He then asked an excited member of the audience to join him on stage as he serenaded her with the song. He then went on to perform his other hit singles ‘Shabba’ and ‘My Town’ alongside Kaladoshas and Scott.
Kaladoshas started off by inviting Cactus Agony on stage as they performed their hit song ‘Chinama’ . Kaladoshas had some interaction with the audience ,then had the whole crowd singing along to his smash hit ‘Nipaseko chance’.
He then introduced his wife to be, hiphop superstar , Cleo Ice Queen . They performed ‘Oxygen’ and the crowd went wild. Cleo Ice Queen started of her set with her verse off the song ‘Do it for zed’, she explained that hiphop is her first love and that it has opened many doors for her to pursue other ventures. Wezi came out to add her amazing vocals to the song ‘Ninaka’.
The last performance of the night was by Roberto. His was arguably the best performance of the night . He started off with his hit singles ‘Eponaba’ and ‘Good woman’ .He then introduced his latest single ‘Into you’ and had the audience singing along. Roberto ended his set with crowd favorite ‘Amarula’ .
