10 Weeks at Number 1 !
Despite earlier refuting claims by Seyi Shay that the song ‘One Dance’ wasn’t written by him, Wizkid posted a picture of a Billboard award showing he had indeed written it. The award, given to Star boy CEO Wizkid by The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) was for the achievement of having written Drake‘s smash hit ‘One Dance’.
The song has done tremendously well on the Billboard charts since its release. Even in Europe, the song did great especially in Belgium. The song was number 1 on the Billboard charts from May 15 to 22 and again from May 29 to July 30 2016. That makes it 10 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 at Number 1.
Wizkid hinted that, he will be doing more songs with Drake and I guess it’s because his first collaboration has been a huge success
