(Ghana) Epixode Inks Publishing Deal with Jamaican VP Records

Epixode  might just be walking into the big league!

In 2013, he signed his first professional contract with Global One Entertainment and released his first hit single ” Tun up” which earned him nomination in the discovery of the year category for BASS awards in that year.

Theophillus Nii Ardey Otoo popularly known to fans across the world as  Epixode has progressively proven to the reggae and dancehall world that he is one of the best when the genre is made a topic of confabulation, drawing attention of global music marketers with his outstanding music talent and creativity.

Music distributors VPAL of VP Records which happens to be the biggest music marketing company in Jamaica with international offices in New York, Japan and United Kingdom

Epixode’s management confirmed through the label’s agent Gino XXL Entertainment based in Amsterdam that Epixode has signed a lucrative distribution deal and his new music will be marketed globally by the Jamaican independent label, VP Records.

Epixode released his second hit single “Avatar” ft Rudebwoy in 2014 and bagged two nominations in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (New Artist of the year and Reggae dancehall artist of the year). He won his first international award when he was crowned Africa’s most promising act at the African Youth Choice Awards 2015 held in Nigeria and also won the reggae dancehall video of the year at the BASS awards 2015 with the “Avatar” video.

VP Records has released music for heavyweights including Sizzla, Sean Paul, Busy Signal, Etana, Duane Stephenson, Elephant Man and Ghanaian acts such as Black Prophet and Stonebwoy.
