(Ghana) D-Black signs management deal with Nigerian outfit

Award Winning Ghanaian rapper, Desmond Kwesi Blackmore better known by his stage name, D-Black has just signed a promotional and management deal with a Nigerian outfit, Gas Promotions led by Ayodele Odunsi.

D-Black is a part Ghanaian, part English artist based in Ghana. He is also the CEO of Black Avenue Muzik, an independent record label home to himself, music producer ‘Dj Breezy’, ‘Tonga’ hitmaker Joey B and more. He is also sole owner and CEO of Club Onyx, a plush nightclub nightclub located in the residential areas of Cantonments, Accra.

D-Black now joins the likes of Nigerian afro-pop star L.A.X, London based artiste, Cyfar under Gas Promotions management company.

The 30 year old music mogul, has 70 award nominations and 15 wins home and abroad to his credit including Best African act nods at the 2011 Bet Awards, Ghana Music Awards and more.

He has performed with international acts including Jay Z, Chris Brown, Fat Joe, Joe, Akon, Busta Rhymes, Stevie Wonder and more and collaborated with other African Acts including Davido, Cassper Nyovest, Fally Ipupa, Stanley Enow, M.I Abaga, Phyno and more.

His newest album ‘Lightwork’ is scheduled for release in Nigeria in March 2017.
